Are you attenging TERMIS-EU 2022 this week? During the conference, there are several opportunities to watch presentations by BIRDIE-associated researchers.

The BIRDIE program starts tomorrow, June 28, with the symposium Advanced Biotechnology and Biofabrication approaches for soft tissue engineering and in vitro models tomorrow (S06, Room S3 A, 13:30 – 15:00). The symposium is supported by the BIRDIE and ENLIGHT projects. Here, BIRDIE coordinator Prof. Carlos Mota give the talk Bioprinting on-chip microphysiological models of humanized kidney tubulointerstitium (BIRDIE) (85, 13:50). Carlos is followed in the same session by Dr. Michelle Jäschke, who will give the talk Kidney-on-a-chip – Integrating glomerular filtration and tubular reabsorption models (71, 14:50).

On Wednesday, June 27, you have the oportunity to watch Sveva Fagiolino give the talk Heparan sulphate analogue hydrogels as a platform for kidney organoid maturation (84, 12:10) during the Tissue regeneration by integration of bioinspired materials symposium (S62, Room S4 B, 11:00 – 12:30)
